Requirements for SchoolTipline Grant

In order to be eligible for a grant through Safe to Talk, you must meet specific requirements: 
  • Must be an education based institution or school having students somewhere between the grades of K-12.
  • Must train students (Hold an assembly or classroom student instruction on SchoolTipline, display posters provided in school, give instructional letter provided to students and parents)
  • SchoolTipline URL link needs to be listed on school and district website for web tips submission. (Link provided by SchoolTipline, sponsor logo listed in custom URL.)
  • Must give brief weekly announcements to remind students how to submit tips.
  • Promote continuing education on Anti-Bullying during school year. (based on the school’s bullying education program)
  • Have selected staff members attend instructional training via the web on how to manage SchoolTipline.
  • Must use one survey per year on safety using SchoolTipline system.  SchoolTipline has a safety template available for use.

You must return a signed application as instructed in the application form.
